Patterns of atmospheric circulation, temperature, and precipitation at a certain place over short time periods such as days and even hours. Nowadays short term weather forecasting is so accurate that we can be informed of the expected maximum and minimum temperatures for that specific day. The sunshine, rain or snow that you can see out of the window at any moment is in fact the weather of that place at that time. It differs from climate in that climate is a long-term atmospheric condition. Climate is the average of reported weather conditions over a long period, such as 20 or preferably 35 years.
