equal-interval classification — English
The equal-interval classification method is a method that assigns an equally spaced set of classes across the range of a variable. For example, if my variable ranges between 0 and 100, I can create five classes, namely 0 to 20; 21 to 40; 41 to 60; 61 to 80; and 81 to 100, and determine the number of variables in each class.
